Welcome to the Maryland Policy blog
The Maryland Budget and Tax Policy Institute provides timely, accurate, and accessible information on state tax and social policy priorities. There is a lot of good material on our webpage at www.marylandpolicy.org relating to individual and corporate tax issues, access to health care, education funding and work supports and other safety net issues.
This blog is another attempt to discuss Maryland priorities in a format that is easily accessible to regular people. Also, it allows you to post comments on our material and share your views of Maryland priorities.
We'll give this a shot, and hope that it takes off.

Hey, Steve. I think your 'blog' is a great idea (though I also think you may have gotten carried away with your minimum wage blog -- it's long!). Thanks for introducing this exciting new (?) tool to the SFAI crowd.
Cheers, Doug.

I agree with Doug about the length, but did find the post informative. I look forward to checking in on this blog, and have passed it on as well.

I value the information of the "blog". I was hoping to read that all state employees will be a nice raise this year. By any chance was that forgotten I hope I hope.
Thanks
